| GUMT research and the associated programmes of study are recognised and renowned throughout the world. We believe that our research engages with some of the major issues facing the world today; issues affecting the community that sustains us. Certainly our research informs public opinion and policy, and promotes debate and engagement with key questions of the day. GUMT research is also central to the development of technologies and processes which will benefit future generations.
If you choose to further your career through the GUTM you will be supported in developing your research degree programme by expert academics who contribute to both teaching and research, thereby ensuring that you secure qualifications that are relevant to the professional demands of our changing world. You will join postgraduate research students currently studying with the GUMT, some at Headquarters and others around the globe and linked through our Affiliated Research Centre programme.
