The motto of Global University of Management and Technology (GUMT) is “Knowledge is Power” and the principle mission is to improve quality and expand access to higher educational opportunities by providing a means for individual to learn independent of time and place and to earn competency-based degrees and other credentials to achieve their education, career goals and become responsible citizen.
Global University of Management and Technology (GUMT) is an online University driven by a mission to expand access to competency-based Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes through Technology enabled Learning (TeL). GUMT’s emphasis is on educational program that leads to the acquisitions of knowledge and skills which are necessary to achieve career advancements and personal satisfaction, leadership and service to the community.
The University intends to be a leader in exemplary student support services by offering programs and educational services that respect the multiple demand on working adult learners and those learners whose lifestyles and circumstances require the innovative and creative learning methodologies that are all too often not available at traditional institutions of higher learning.
The University prepares learners to become global citizens, critical thinkers, effective communicators and responsible leaders by providing an academically challenging and value based curriculum.
